On This Day, October 10th: NBA Lockout Day 102 & Amway Center's First Preseason Game

Every Orlando Magic field goal in the brand new Amway Center's 10/10/10 inaugural game. A 135-81 preseason beatdown over the New Orleans Hornets that seemed like ages ago. Yes folks, Quentin Richardson christened the new facility. Dwight Howard was showing off the jumper a bit. Marcin Gortat even had the mohawk going that wouldn't last too long as he looked a bit out of sorts.

Back when Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis were looking like they'd improve off mediocre '09-'10 seasons. It would end up becoming the Ryan Anderson and J.J. Redick show on this special evening. I think we all have forgotten that Stan Van Gundy was wearing a tie and collared shirt along with his suits. THIS WAS ALL JUST A YEAR AGO! Now we may not get a season period at this rate. Let's see what the NBAPA and owners pull today after another seemingly worthless 5-hour meeting late Sunday night.
