NBA Lockout Day 80

March 16, 2007. Another Kobe Bryant masterpiece. His 65-point outing came in overtime in Los Angeles, against the Portland Trailblazers. This is just before the Blazers became respectable. This was a Phil Jackson coached Lakers team before Pau Gasol came in to rescue the franchise. Back when they were barely sneaking into the playoffs.

This is a solid back-and-forth matchup between two almost irrelevant sides. Maurice Evans and Lamar Odom were the only other Lakers in double figures. Nate McMillan's Blazers had a misfit Zach Randolph, as well as the talented youth of LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy. Clutch Kobe at his finest.
