NBA Lockout Day 26

Here are the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat facing off in the lockout shortened '98-'99 season, but it's all narrated by a hot British chick who clearly enjoyed the City Beautiful and really ups the excitement of such a crummy game.

The date was April 22, 1999 as the 50-game season was coming to a close. Even though Miami would win 75-70, it's still a very enjoyable clip despite the bad offense. It doesn't take a diehard fan to realize how special it is to see Bo Outlaw make a buzzer beating jumper from the corner.

Chuck Daly did a hell of a job with that '98-'99 squad. Penny Hardaway was relatively healed up after his career looked to be in jeopardy, and the team was battling things out with Pat Riley's Miami Heat for that top spot in the Eastern Conference for most of that season. It's also good to hear Jack 'Goose' Givens on the call as he had more of a fan's perspective of things.

I've never seen a player get the ball jammed between the rim and the backboard at such a crucial time in the game as Darrell Armstrong somehow managed to accomplish. Tim Hardaway just had to put on a clinic towards the end. The postgame interviews with Alonzo Mourning and Penny proved to be the more valuable segment of this clip.
